National
Standards is a Federal Curriculum
The following organizations have established national
standards that form the federal curriculum. These standards have been
developed at the direction and with major funding from the federal
government.
States are expected to base their state standards and assessments on
this content. The National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) is
based on these standards.
Collectively, they comprise a political agenda that politicizes the
curriculum in every school. For example, the U.S. History Standards were
rejected by the U.S. Senate in 1995 on a vote of 99 to 1. Only cosmetic
changes have been made on them since that time.
The CCE standards on Civics and Government undermine the basic
principles of our government: national sovereignty, natural rights and
natural law.
The NCTM math standards are the fuzzy math that rejects traditional
math teaching and memorizing.
States that base their standards and assessments on these national
standards are accepting a radical, politicized curriculum in their
schools, created, funded and enforced by the federal government.
What are the National Standards? Who creates them?
